Zing started with a stay-at-home mom and a side hustle.
The idea was the easy part. What came after wasn't. Every search for "how to start" turned up advice that contradicted the last thing I'd read, and none of it told me what to actually do on Monday morning. The questions I really had felt too small to bother a business coach with, and too big to work out on my own.
I assumed the people a few steps ahead had it figured out. They didn't. They had followers and steady sales and no more answers than I did — and no way to turn I have an audience into I have a community.
What was missing was never information. There's plenty of that. It was people: somewhere to get an honest answer from someone one step ahead, and to be that person for someone one step behind.
